Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born December 13, 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a pop/country singer-songwriter since the age of 20. Swift's stories of teenage love and heartbreaks have earned her wide acclaim during the 21st Century. Swift began to show an interest in music as early as age and she progressed quickly from roles in children's theatre until her first performance before an audience of thousands. Swift was only 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. After that she wrote her first songs, and also picked up the guitar. Swift got inspiration from musicians who played country music, like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks to come up with original songs that expressed the apathy that she felt around the age 13. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania along with her parents into Hendersonville, Tennessee after she reached 13 and decided to spend her time to courting artists from the genre of country music in Nashville.
