Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. Also, she was the producer and costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC when she was the Artistic Director of SSC. While she was usually the leader of the acting ensemble during her last year, she was able to make her debut as an actor (and Lighting Designer) in the SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she has been involved in a variety of game-based programs. The daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school of choice. She participated as a cheerleader. She attended Pomona College for a short duration and she graduated at Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Post married Stephen Knox in the past. The couple has been together since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with whom she shares two daughters. Post has inspired numerous Hollywood actors as she is an outstanding actress, as well as an ideal mother and wife.
